The U.S. Department of Defence has introduced an interim rule, effective immediately, that will ease the bureaucracy required for foreign military sales (FMS). The new rule no longer requires contracting officers to analyse indirect offset cost agreements between a U.S. defence contractor and an international FMS customer.
